M.A.C Candy Yum Yum Lipstick Review!!!!!

Hi everyone.  This review is going to be on a highly coveted, once limited edition, now permanent, highly beautiful and bright neon lipstick  by M.A.C.. You all know how much i love mac so I'm not even going to go into that. My thirst for this lipstick alone is proof!!

Candy yum yum was first released in the 2011 QUITE CUTE collection and this lipstick sold out so fast!!! O_O. It was then released as a back by popular demand lipstick last year along with Moxie and Rocker and would you know what happened AGAIN!!! SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE!! This girl was heartbroken and i really wanted this lipstick.I was online looking up reviews and how it looked on different skin tones and this just made me fall in love with the lipstick even more.

Then guess what happened??? M.A.C MADE IT PERMANENT!! *doing the Dougie* :D ... Haha.. Ok so before i go on and on with my little rant let me get into this review ...

TEXTURE/ FINISH: My darling Candy yum yum is a matte bright pink lipstick not for the faint hearted. This lipstick is a barbie pink lipstick but not in the way of ST Germain which is pale and milky. This lipstick stands out so if you are not into bold, look at me colors this is not for you hunnie!!! You have to WERK THIS!! I love the fact that even though this lipstick is matte it is not drying on the lips at all! It applies smoothly, doesn't sink into my lips and emphasize crack lines and the staying power is awesome.. It does leave a pretty stain on the lips after a while which i quite like very much..

 

 

 

Photographing this lip color was a little tricky for me as i couldn't get my camera to pick up the true brightness of the lipstick. I had to go outside and take the pictures and this did the trick. Sorry i don't have a lip swatch..I took these pictures during my lunch time. I didn't have the time to take a lip picture. :(

Overall this is an amazing buy and i have worn it out a couple of times already.If this is too bright for you i would suggest you use a purple lip liner to tone this down. e,g Mac Currant, Nightmoth or NYX purple lip liner would do just fine. Im also on the hunt for a dupe of this.. Does anyone know one?
